The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., (EGA), was formed for the express purpose of fostering the art of needlework and associated arts. EGA seeks to promote cooperation and the exchange of ideas among those who are engaged in needlework throughout the world by encouraging a high standard of design and technique in embroidery. EGA provides a center to be used as a bureau of education and information regarding the art of embroidery for all guild members. It is our purpose to conduct instruction and research in the art of needlework and to distribute related materials and publications to members and to the public.

The National Academy of Needlearts is an organization devoted to the advancement of embroidery as an art form.
Its goal is to uphold the highest standards in the needlearts by providing excellence in education to all those interested in furthering their embroidery skills as teachers, judges, artists, designers, authors, and technically proficient embroiderers. |

Founded in 1964, INRG is a guild of independent, retail needlework shop owners working with other shop owners. Shops belonging to INRG represent all facets of the needleart industry. Independent
shop owners are the primary members of INRG; Auxiliary Members include manufacturers, designers, teachers, and distributors.

The Charted Designers Association is a nonprofit organization formed in 1979 to standardize and promote the charted design industry. It is made up of design companies, designers and suppliers specializing in the field of printed needlework charts, kits and patterns.
Originally titled Charted Designers of America, the organization underwent a reorganization in 2002, which included changing the group name to Charted Designers Association. This new name reflects the growth of the needlework industry worldwide, and the group encompasses needlework designers from many countries. |
The Embroiderers' Guild is the UK's leading craft
organization, a self-funding educational charity and registered museum which promotes embroidery and provides access to its resources and skills for the benefit of the whole community.
The Guild promotes embroidery as being all work stitched or derived from stitch. |

National Polymer Clay Guild is a non-profit organization. The Guild's objectives are to educate the public about polymer clay, and to study and promote an interest in the use of polymer clay as an artistic medium by:
